Outdoor education

WALT optimist yacht
On Thursday we went to Pandora pond
We learnt to rig up an optimist yacht
And sail it, it was fun
Me and my friend cap sized the boat it was fun to.

Fitness/nutrition

WALT keeping ourselves fit and healthy
On Wednesdays we have been working with Karen to keep fit and healthy for when we grow up.
Karen makes up some games for us to play like... she pulls a card out of a bag some times she pulls out a card that means we have to do push-ups and other stuff and then other day's we just talk about healthy food and nutrition.


These are some things that I didn't know before and know now
 We have to stretch before and after a work out.
We have to drink at least 8 leitears a day.
We can turn fitness into a game.

Spring is a festive time in Bangladesh. People celebrate this season with newly reaped paddies. Villagers make various types of pitha cakes to entertain guests.

Rotation swimming

In swimming I have been part of the dolphins group.


I have been learning to: breast stroke  and now I'm am much better and faster at it

  • Swim one length backstroke and freestyle

  • Using regular breathing.


I am most proud of: breaststroke because I'm faster

Than I used to be.



I now need to work on doing: backstroke because I need to be able

to float on my back.

We are learning about equivalent fraction
I coloured half of a piece of paper and folded it into equal fractions.
I learnt that 1/2 is equivalent to 4/8
and 2/4 is the same as 8/16
My next learning step is ordering fractions

We are learning to write a formal letter.
We wrote to the hastings district council and we told them our opinion about the changing speed limit
From hastings to clive
I think that you should keep it on 80 that means it will be safer for every one
so I strongly disagree with the change.
